Workshop / Collection FAQs
How do I arrange a collection for my drive repair?
Booking a collection is simple. Contact our team with details of your final drive, swing drive, hydraulic motor or gearbox, and we’ll arrange a convenient collection from your site. Customers in mainland UK can benefit from our free collection service*.
What happens after my component is collected?
Once your component arrives at our workshop, our technicians carry out a full teardown and inspection to identify the cause of the fault. We then provide a detailed assessment and quotation before any repair work begins.
Is the inspection included in the service?
Yes. Our teardown and inspection service is included free of charge when you proceed with a repair or overhaul. This allows us to accurately diagnose faults and recommend the most cost-effective solution.
What types of components can I send for repair?
We regularly repair and recondition final drives, swing drives, hydraulic motors, hydrostatic gearboxes and planetary gearboxes from more than 150 machinery brands used across construction, forestry, quarrying, demolition and other industries.
How long does a repair usually take?
Repair times vary depending on the condition of the component and parts availability. Thanks to our extensive stockholding and access to millions of parts, we aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible to minimise machine downtime.
What if my component cannot be repaired?
If a repair is not economically viable, our team will discuss alternative options with you. Depending on availability, we may be able to offer a reconditioned replacement unit, a core exchange solution, or a new assembly to get your machine back to work quickly.
*Free collection available for mainland UK customers only.
