Hillhead 2026 has come to a close, and we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who visited the Plant Parts stand over the three-day event.
Despite the extraordinary temperatures throughout the show, it was fantastic to see so many people making the journey to Hillhead. The incredible turnout was a real testament to the strength of the construction and quarrying industries, and we were delighted to welcome both long-standing customers and many new faces to Stand PD1.

A Record-Breaking Hillhead
The soaring temperatures certainly made Hillhead one of the hottest on record, but they didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of exhibitors or visitors. Across three days, 627 exhibitors welcomed thousands of industry professionals to Hillhead Quarry for the UK’s largest exhibition of quarrying, construction and recycling equipment.
For Plant Parts, it was our busiest Hillhead yet. We were genuinely overwhelmed by the number of visitors who stopped by our stand to discuss upcoming projects, seek technical advice, explore our workshop capabilities and learn more about the products and services we offer. We’d like to thank everyone who took the time to visit us despite the challenging conditions.

Showcasing More Than Just Parts
Hillhead gave us the opportunity to demonstrate how Plant Parts supports customers throughout the entire lifecycle of their machines.
Visitors were able to learn more about our extensive range of OEM, Genuine and Aftermarket parts, while also discovering the specialist workshop services that help reduce downtime and maximise component life.
Our experienced team enjoyed discussing everything from repair versus replacement decisions to sourcing hard-to-find components, supporting customers with technical advice and showcasing the strength of our partnerships with industry-leading manufacturers.

Introducing The Rig
One of the biggest talking points throughout the show was The Rig—our purpose-built hydraulic motor testing facility for Swing and Final Drive motors.
Following significant investment, The Rig is the only facility of its kind in the UK, allowing us to accurately test repaired and rebuilt hydraulic motors under real operating conditions. The response from visitors was overwhelmingly positive, with many impressed by the level of testing, reporting and quality assurance it brings to our workshop services.
For customers, it represents another step forward in ensuring every repaired component leaves our workshop performing exactly as it should.

Congratulations to Our Competition Winner
Our bespoke Final Drive coffee table certainly attracted plenty of attention throughout the event!
Visitors took on the challenge of guessing its weight for the chance to win a LEGO® Technic set, and we’re delighted to congratulate a lucky member of the Cummins team, who correctly guessed the closest weight and took home the prize.
Thank you to everyone who entered the competition—we’ll be sharing more photographs from the event over the coming weeks.

Until Next Time
Hillhead has always been about more than machinery. It’s an opportunity to strengthen relationships, share knowledge and meet the people who keep our industry moving.
To everyone who visited our stand, shared their challenges, explored new solutions or simply stopped by for a chat and a cold drink during the heatwave—thank you. Your support helped make Hillhead 2026 our biggest and most successful show yet.
If you didn’t get the chance to visit us during the exhibition—or you’d like to continue the conversation—our team is always here to help with parts enquiries, repair advice and expert support.
You can see the FULL Photo album over on our Facebook page.
We look forward to seeing you again at Hillhead 2028.
